What Does Bound Hard Copy Actually Mean?
I remember the first time a customer called and said they wanted a bound hard copy. I thought they were looking for a book. Turns out, they meant a notebook. But a specific kind. Bound, not spiral. Hard cover, not soft. And not loose sheets.
Three words. A thousand ways to mess it up if you don't know what you're ordering.
A bound hard copy is essentially a physical document that's been assembled with some sort of binding — could be stitching, could be glue — and usually (though not always) given a rigid cover. The idea is permanence. This isn't a stack of papers you're going to lose. It's something that stays together. Something you can throw in a bag and pull out six months later and it's still intact.
We've been making these at Sri Rama Notebooks since 1985. Over 30,000 a day now. And I still think people don't ask enough questions before they order them.
